An ASEAN citizen 27 years old and below in possession of an offer for degree or master study from a reputable university.
Application
Applications for CIMB ASEAN Scholarship 2021 will open from 24 May – 16 June 2021.

Eligibility and Scholarship Coverage
The CIMB ASEAN Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional students from ASEAN countries in which CIMB has a presence. We are looking for individuals fuelled to go beyond the ordinary.
In recognising the evolving nature of the banking industry, CIMB welcomes applicants from a wide variety of academic disciplines. We have previously sponsored applicants studying Computer Science, Data Science and Psychology, apart from degrees traditionally associated with a career in banking. For example, Accounting, Economics, Finance.
Basic eligibility:
A citizen of either Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam or Philippines.
27 years old and below
Applicant with minimum of 1 full academic year remaining.
In possession of an excellent academic track record and active in curricular activities.
Non-recipients of any other scholarship or grant, with a contractual obligation on the part of the applicant.
Selection Criteria
The assessment process is as follows:
STAGE 1
All applications are screened to ensure that the basic eligibility criteria is fulfilled.
STAGE 2
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to partake in CIMB online assessments.
STAGE 3
Shortlisted applicants will meet with a panel of interviewers.
STAGE 4
Shortlisted applicants will participate in our CIMB ASEAN Scholarship Virtual Assessment.
STAGE 5
Shortlisted applicants will undergo a final interview with CIMB Group’s senior management team.
The selection of suitable candidates for the CIMB ASEAN Scholarship will be based primarily on the following:
