EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education/Experience:
University degree in economics, accounting, business administration; 5 years experience in microfinance or commercial banking industry with specialization in savings mobilization and lending operations.
Special / Personal Abilities:
- • Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- • Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of reliability and correctness
- • Good knowledge on economic and financial topics and sufficient experience in the operational business of AXON Tunga Microfinance,
- • Good knowledge of Micro/Macro Economic factors of Rwanda,
- • Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach
- • Very good communication skills
- • Familiar with Microsoft applications
- • Excellent marketing skills
Responsibility:
- • Ensures an efficient performance of the branch
- • Exchanges information with Head of Operations, Marketing and Credit departments and other branches and ensures an adequate information flow within the branch
- • Markets the products and services of AXON Tunga Microfinance
- • Ensure the Branch met all the key KPIs especially in Deposits, lending and management of Non performing loans,
- • Solid knowledge of Mobile Banking and Agency Banking
Main tasks:
- • Coordinates and controls the operations of the assigned zone,
- • Implements policies, procedures and internal controls at the branch
- • Ensures that the targets agreed with the management are reached;
- • Chairs the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and participates in evaluating, approving, or rejecting loans according to the level of discretion;
- • Chair the Branch Business Development Committee and other Branch related committee
- • Plans personnel capacity, selecting new staff and evaluating existing staff in coordination with management; Ensures that the branch staff maintain very high morale and adequate and updated training;
- • Plans and initiates promotional measures within the target markets of the branch;
- • “Champions” the deposit mobilization efforts within the branch’s area of coverage;
- • Coordinate with Head of Operations and Mobile Banking team to have the entire branch clients are registered and using Mobile Banking and Mobile Lending.
