Job responsibilities
a)Plan for all activities related to the clinical chemistry section – Plan for all the activities related to the clinical chemistry section b)Ensure the management of the stock and consumables within the section. – Take periodic inventory of reagent stocks and lab consumables for the Lab section – Prepare and submit the requisition on time c)Ensure the good functioning of equipment within the service – Follow-up on scheduled equipment maintenance, service and repairs
d) Participate in biomedical research studies – Participate in operational research organized by other institution – Conduct own researches related to the section.
e) Participate in training related to the service – Supervise and train lab personnel on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) – Participate in different trainings related to the service to improve his/her knowledge – Continuous assessment & evaluation of the staff put at his disposal especialy during the approbation period
f)Active participation in accreditation process activities – Participate in EQA program – Implement Lab Quality Control programs – Elaboration of SOPs and other document related to service g)Prepare periodical (quarterly and annual )reports and submit them to the supervisor.
