1. Corporate Partnerships Lead

Position Title:  Corporate Partnerships Lead
Department: Fundraising Department
Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Job Purpose

The Corporate Partnerships Lead is responsible for developing and growing strategic private-sector partnerships that accelerate Solid’Africa’s mission of building sustainable nutrition systems across Africa.

The role will identify, cultivate, secure and steward high-value partnerships with corporations, foundations, industry associations and business leaders to mobilize financial resources, in-kind support, and longterm strategic collaborations

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven business development professional with exceptional relationship management skills, a strong network across Rwanda’s corporate landscape, and a proven ability to influence senior executives, develop compelling partnership propositions and convert opportunities into sustainable, high-impact collaborations.



Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Partnership Development

  • Develop and execute Solid’Africa’s Corporate Partnerships Strategy aligned with organizational fundraising and sustainability objectives.
  • Build, manage and continuously strengthen a high-quality pipeline of corporate prospects across Rwanda.
  • Identify opportunities within CSR, ESG, Shared Value, Sustainability and Corporate Philanthropy agendas.
  • Cultivate relationships with CEOs, Managing Directors, Board Members and senior corporate decision-makers.
  • Design tailored partnership models that align corporate priorities with Solid’Africa’s strategic programmes.

2. Revenue Generation & Resource Mobilization

3. Strategic Relationship Management

  • Serve as the principal relationship manager for corporate partners.

5. Proposal Development & Business Growth 

  • Develop high-quality partnership proposals, sponsorship packages and investment cases.

  • Maintain an accurate corporate partnership database, prospect tracker and pipeline dashboard.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with the Brand & Communications, Development, Programmes, Finance, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, and Operations teams to ensure partnerships are effectively designed, implemented, monitored, reported and celebrated.

Person Specification

Category Requirements
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, Business Development or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate Partnerships, Business Development, Corporate Fundraising, Sales/Key Account Management, Resource Mobilization or Corporate Relations. Experience within an NGO, development organization or social enterprise is desirable.

2. Kitchen Manager

Position: Kitchen Manager (High-Capacity Operations)

Department: Food & Beverage / Operations

1. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume kitchen and institutional catering operation in Rusororo. The successful candidate will oversee production, financial performance, food safety, staff, inventory, and service delivery.

The Kitchen Manager will have responsibility for the kitchen’s operational and financial performance, including budget management and cost control. The role serves a diverse client base, including NGO-supported hospitals and schools, hospital staff, and commercial business-to-business (B2B) customers. The postholder will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, IT, Monitoring and Evaluation, Programs, Communications, and other relevant teams.




Key Responsibilities

Financial and Business Performance

  • Develop and manage the annual kitchen operating budget, subject to General Manager approval.
  • Monitor food and labour costs against approved budgets and targets.
  • Review costs and financial performance regularly, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve yields, and strengthen gross margins.

Job Summary:The Repairs & Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Solid’Africa’s large-scale catering facility, ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utilities, and infrastructure function efficiently. This role involves leading a team of technicians, developing preventive maintenance programs, managing compliance with safety, food hygiene, and industry regulations, and optimizing facility operations to ensure seamless food production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program for all kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, gas installations, security systems, and structural facilities.
  • Create a scheduled maintenance calendar to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and maintenance assessments to identify risks and prevent breakdowns.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring proper task allocation and on-time execution of maintenance work.

Job Purpose

To maintain accurate, well-organized, and secure stock records for Solid Africa’s stores. The Inventory Controller ensures that goods are received, stored, issued, and tracked correctly, supporting reliable operations and responsible use of resources.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications.
  • Record all stock received, issued, transferred, returned, or disposed of using the approved inventory system and documents.
  • Maintain accurate stock cards, registers, and digital inventory records.
  • Store goods safely and systematically, ensuring proper labeling, access control, and suitable storage conditions.
  • Issue items only against authorized requests and obtain recipient acknowledgment.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess, damaged, expired, or slow-moving items; report concerns promptly.

5. Head of Procurement and Supply Chain

Role Purpose

Solid’Africa is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Supply Chain to lead the organization’s procurement and sourcing functions. The successful candidate will develop reliable, cost-effective, ethical, and transparent supply chains that support the organization’s growing operations and mission.

The role will oversee sourcing for food, agricultural inputs, kitchen equipment, energy solutions, packaging, and logistics. It will also strengthen supplier and farmer relationships, ensure compliance with organizational and donor requirements, and provide effective leadership to procurement and supply-chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement and Supply-Chain Strategy

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply-chain strategies aligned with Solid’Africa’s farm-to-fork model and organizational priorities.
  • Establish sourcing approaches that support reliable operations, value for money, quality, and cost-effective meal delivery.
  • Lead procurement planning for food, agricultural inputs, kitchen equipment, packaging, clean-energy systems, and other operational requirements.
  • Work with relevant teams to improve demand forecasting, procurement planning, stock availability, and supply-chain efficiency.

Agricultural Sourcing and Farmer Engagement

Food and Institutional Procurement

  • Work with nutrition, kitchen, and program teams to forecast and source ingredients for hospital and school meal programs.
  • Ensure procurement specifications reflect required quality, nutrition, food-safety, and service standards.
  • Lead competitive sourcing and tender processes for food commodities, logistics services, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate procurement planning with kitchen production schedules to support timely supply and reduce avoidable food loss.

Governance, Compliance, and Contract Management

  • Professional procurement certification, such as CIPS, is highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement or supply-chain management; 10 years or more is an advantage.
  • Experience in food supply chains, FMCG, food manufacturing, institutional catering, agriculture, or a large NGO or social enterprise is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing competitive procurement, high-value contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement teams.
  • Experience working with farmers, agricultural cooperatives, or local sourcing initiatives, preferably in Rwanda or East Africa.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement controls, contract management, audit requirements, and donor-funded procurement.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and demand-forecasting tools is an advantage.
