About the Role

You shall form an integral part of the Rwanda Investigations Team and work departments across the organization to effect repayment and recoveries.

We are ready to hand over repayment work including spearheading several exciting investigations and subject matter areas.

You will join a growing team and report to an investigations Coordinator based in Rwanda

Responsibilities

  • Conduct recovery of fraud losses and repayment on the cases
  • Support Investigation Coordinators and other Investigations Specialist on cases
  •  Reporting cases to RIB and follow up the submitted cases until closed
  • You will work on the frauds of cell stock theft;
  • Organize field collection drives across the assigned districts
  • Work with the team to minimize fraud exposure through proactive risk assessments;
  • Prepare reports of investigation findings and update departmental trackers;
  • Reporting to prosecutor’s office;
  • Provide a weekly report to the supervisor

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

Competencies

  • Ready to be based in a Districts outside Kigali
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing repayment information and decisions making;
  • Interview skills – ability to conduct focused, meaningful interviews while gathering, accurate, and complete evidence;
  • Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

General Requirements:

  • Rwandese citizen;
  • Integrity and ability to work in consumer finance with small scale farmers across Rwanda;

Education:

  •  Secondary School Diploma holder with 3 years of experience working with local government or law firm or;
  • Background to law or at least three years of experience working with local authorities or;
  • Graduate of law school with no added experience;
  • Any additional certification will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in English and Kinyarwanda
