About the Role

Horticulture Supervisor manage regular harvest and aggregations of the region . You will recruit farmers and manage weekly avocado aggregations including the management of a big team of Horticulture officers from your region. The Horticulture Supervisor execute Avocado Operations from 3-5 districts.

You will report directly to Horticulture Operations Coordinator and you will manage 10 Horticulture Officers.


Responsibilities

  • Horticultural products of Avocado aggregations and processing
  • Assist in district trials coordination
  • Supervise team of up to 10 Horticulture Officers
  • Organize local logistics from farmgate to the Collection hubs
  • Develop an annual plan and targets for you and the team
  • Data management

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • 2-3 years of experience working on Field with Farmers .
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, holding it in Agricultural sector will be an added value
  • IT skills
  • Proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English
