The Institution of Engineers Rwanda(IER), started in 2008 as a learned society of engineering profession with an aim to promote and develop engineering services and best practice for the sustainable development of our country. This was in line with government’s commitment to promote science and technology for the national development while promoting the engineering profession leading to improved quality and efficiency of services.

Call for Application for Professional Internship Program
The institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER) in partnership with UK Royal Academy through Africa Catalyst Project (ACP) offers professional internships for 60 Graduate Engineers every year.
In this regard, IER is calling for Graduate Engineers/Technologists from various engineering professions to apply for the 2020 Internship Cohort. IER shall work with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful candidates are placed on infrastructure projects across the Country. IER will as well provide subsistence allowances to interns during the entire 6-months period.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates shall full fill the following:
Having a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering field
Registered with IER on the rank of Graduate Engineer
Must be a Rwandan by Nationality
Having not benefited from similar program (ACP)
The application shall include the following documents:
Application letter address the Executive Secretary, Institution of Engineers Rwanda;
CV
Valid Registration Certificate for the year 2020 (Graduate Membership)
Photocopy of National ID
N.B: All copies MUST be submitted in one PDF document.
