• Teach/Train students in areas of Quantity surveying;
• Contribute in implementation of high quality curriculum;
• Conduct practical session planning and preparation;
• Engage in professional and personal development;
• Participate in community outreach activities;
• Supervision of student innovation projects;
• Conduct practical examination and assessment;
• Participate in income generating activities of the institution;
• conduct training needs assessment in line with curriculum;
• Assist students to perform the necessary tasks while working in the workshop;
• Prepare an inclusive workshop;
• Provide professional and technical advice to the institution;
• Perform all other tasks assigned by her/his supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering

– Proven experience in designing, monitoring, inspection and evaluation of civil construction works, housing and urban planning and infrastructure development programs and projects

Good understanding of TVET policies and standards

Having a TVET Trainer certificate is an added value

CAD softwares (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, ERDAS IMAGINE)
