Advert – Admin and Supply Chain Coordinator
About the Role:

The Admin and Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible to the administration work, planning, procurement processing, warehousing, fleet, and asset management. She/he will ensure compliance with the donor and organisation’s policies and procedures, implementation of internal and external procurement requirements and offer training and induction to non-supply chain project staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Hold Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Administration, Commerce, Business, or another relevant field.
- Experience in SCI or other similar INGO logistics management, business administration or related area experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management in the NGO sector, within nationwide implemented project.
- Proven experience in all technical areas of supply chain operations including comprehensive procurement understanding, transport/distribution, warehousing and stock management, fleet management, asset management, communications, and security.
- Experience of working in remote field bases with limited infrastructure.
- Experience in managing and supervising others in supply chain.
- Ability to synthesize and analyze information, and make clear, informed decisions.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
- Strong planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Cultural awareness, with strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Ikinyarwanda.
- Patient, adaptable, flexible, able to improvise and remain responsive and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical, problem-solving, financial skills and public speaking skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Computer literate. (Ms Word, Excel, Power point, Internet Explorer)
- Commitment to Save the Children’s mission and values.
- Initiative, flexibility and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
This position is on Child Safeguarding- Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs. Or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
