Responsibilities:

Administrative function:

  • To supervise, control and coordinate activities related to Administration and HR;
  • Oversees effective HR and administrative systems to ensure smooth functioning of Human Resource Management
  • To supervise, control and coordinate Procurement activities for planning tenders that are likely to be awarded during the budgetary year, on annual basis, and in accordance with the annual budget of every project.
  • To put in place policies in the area of training and refresher courses of the personnel;
  • To coordinate and facilitate short term consultants;
  • Coordinate annual performance evaluation of REMCO staff.
  • Coordinate management contract of services and supplies that are given to REMCO;

Procurement and logistic function:

  • Ensure the availability of annual procurement plans for all multilateral and bilateral projects under REMCO,
  • Liaise with the Procurement and logistics team leader to ensure that all tenders are published and processed on time;
  • Liaise with the Procurement and logistics team leader to ensure the proper management of contracts;
  • Take necessary measures to ensure that goods and services are delivered and stored safely in accordance with provisions of tender.

  • IT Management
  • Coordinate and supervise IT team.

Minimum Requirements:                                                                                          

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, public or business administration, related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Post graduate in management, public or business administration, related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable
  • Minimum combination of 7+ years of relevant experience in Human resource management and general administration, and procurement with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team in manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge and progressive experience in managing human resources, procurement, information technology, management information/client tracking systems, occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple, conflicting demands
  • Strong critical analysis, problem solving, planning, decision-making, leadership, organizational and change management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and model teamwork
