| Purpose |
A Technical Officer in charge of Tally is the top front-line, customer-facing operational staff. S/he contributes to the achievement of operational or support objectives and targets by planning and carrying out individual work assignments aimed at verifying, inspecting goods under clearance in accordance with Customs process and procedures.

| Key duties and responsibilities |
- Work with the warehouse operator to ensure proper accounting of goods in warehouse.
- Prepare and submit reports including recommendations to the direct supervisor.
- Work with the warehouse operator to ensure that warehoused goods are properly kept as per processes and procedures.
- Handle taxpayers complaints in a timely manner.
- Carry out individual work assignments to ensure that goods declared conform to the actual goods to be exited.
