Job Description

– Reporting to the Division Manager for Animal Resources Processing & Biotechnology, the Animal Resources Processing Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
– Create process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates in animal resources processing units
– Evaluate processes and workflows in animal resources processing plants to identify opportunities for improvement
– Provide technical assistance to animal resources processing plants aimed at ensuring the operations comply with the existing safety and quality standards
– Develop standardized operating instructions for processes in animal resources processing plants
– Prepare needs of spare parts of for all animal resources processing equipment
– Conduct the maintenance and calibration of animal resources processing equipments
– Contribute actively in the preparation of technical specifications of animal resources processing equipments.
– Development standard operating procedures for the proper utilization of animal resources processing equipments.
– Ensure the proper maintenance of all animal resources processing equipments and facilities including all routine service and repair works
– Conduct of training for staff on the proper utilisation of animal resources processing equipment.
– Assure the proper utilization of institutional resources and safeguard of assets as far as his/her portfolio is concerned.
– Perform any other duty as required by the competent authorities.




  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology

      0 Year of relevant experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology

      0 Year of relevant experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Process Engineering

      0 Year of relevant experience

    • Advanced diploma in Food Technology

      0 Year of relevant experience
