Job Description
– Report to Division Manager Crop Post-harvest and Processing Management and has as responsibilities:
– Provide guidance and advice for policies, strategies and standards for post harvesting structure and technologies appropriate for Rwanda
– Train farmers and Agricultural Extension Agents on appropriate post-harvest technologies and loss prevention techniques
– To identify available technologies, and that they are used efficiently within established procedures
– Participate in monitoring and evaluation of disseminated technologies on post-harvest and nutrition systems
– To Observe, recognize, and report any or sanitation or quality issues due to use any technology
– To prepare a quarterly and annual report on Crop post harvesting, Handling activities carried out;
– To Work with the M&E and communications staff to analyse baseline information and report findings and results of activities, including success stories.
– Ensure that the institution has and maintains a good reputation
– Perform any other duty as required by the competent authorities.
