Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in General Medicine, Public Health, Global Health or food Science and Technology. Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Knowledge of public health communicable disease control, planning and policy development, analyzing data, concise reporting, and surveillance of communicable diseases – Technical and practical experience in detection and investigation of food – and waterborne outbreaks; – Excellent knowledge of communicable disease epidemiology and surveillance; – Managerial skills for the development implementation and analysis of immunization and surveillance projects and activities, including budget programming and control; – Sound knowledge of tools, particularly analytical epidemiological tools, for outbreak investigation; – Development of measurable objectives, operational plans and measurable indicators/targets for public health programs and project; – Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Rwandan Health system; – Planning & Organizational skills; – Research Skills & Writing skills; – Creative, proactive, customer focused, solutions led and outcome driven skills; – Interpersonal skills – Effective communication skills; – Time Management skills; – Computer skills; – Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage. |
