Coordinates PMTCT in all health facilities public and private,
– Provide technical support to health care providers through clinical mentorships, trainings ,meetings – Support implementers in PMTCT with national guidance for operational planning and implementation. – Involvement in operational research for PMTCT and follow routine program data – Support development of guidelines, tools related to HIV prevention including PMTCT. – Regular self development in research and clinical practice n collaboration with other colleagues in HIV Prevention Unit, MoH/MCH : – Ensure PMTCT tools integrate mother and child health comprehensive information – Conducted joint education sessions |

Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in General Medicine or Master’s Degree in Global Health, Public Health with nursing background. Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Development of measurable objectives, operational plans and measurable indicators/targets for public health programs and project; – Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with donors, implementing partners and other stakeholders; – Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects; – Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Rwandan Health system; – Planning & Organizational skills; – Research Skills & Writing Skills; – Creative, proactive, customer focused, solutions led and outcome driven skills; – Interpersonal skills; – Effective communication skills; – Time Management skills; – Computer skills; – Judgment & Decision making skills; – Complex Problem solving skills; – Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage. |
