Job Description
Participate in blood collection sessions and other activities relating to blood donors maintaining a close and excellent collaboration with Blood donor Representatives/volunteers/Peer promoters.
2. Ensure collection equipment and supplies are adequate and in good working condition;
3. Follow all policies and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe work environment and maintain quality culture;
4. Clean, maintain and calibrate equipment used to ensure it is working correctly and complete associated documentation;
5. Ensure safety and comfort of blood donors during and after blood collection, assess adverse donor reactions, intervene appropriately and report accordingly;
6. Ensure safety of blood during and after collection;
7. Participate in the elaboration of quality documents;
8. Ensure a full and proper use of the blood bank computerized system (e-progesa);
9. Follow SOPs in performing routine activities;
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by hierarchical supervisors;
In collaboration with Blood donor mobilization team:
– Shares responsibility on the proper management and handling of Blood donors.
– Shares information and investigates non-conformances related to Blood donation.
In collaboration with the Laboratory team:
– Ensures proper storage of Blood and Blood Units.
– Ensures that all non-conforming Blood Units are quarantined.
Minimum Qualifications

Advanced Diploma in Nursing
0 Year of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with background in Nursing

Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical medicine with background in Nursing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health with background in nursing,
