Job Description
– Facilitate the formation of operational cooperatives (craft, agriculture and livestock.) for all residents of IDP model village;
– Train all residents with ability to work in skills development, financial literacy, income generating project elaboration; Coordinate all activities within RUGABANO IDP Model Village;
– Coordinate all activities within RUGABANO IDP Model Village;
– Coordinate the inclusive identification of vulnerable groups in RUGABANO IDP Model Village and their needs in accordance with the criteria established by higher authorities;
– Implement the District’s empowerment strategy for vulnerable groups towards their graduation in RUGABANO IDP Model Village;
– Monitor and evaluate the impact of project or initiatives within RUGABANO IDP MODEL and produce
– consolidated reports thereof;
– Monitor the functioning of population in RUGABANO IDP Model Village and produce consolidated reports thereof;
– Organize, in collaboration with other stakeholders, campaigns (training, workshops, meetings, etc.) aimed at improving the inclusive development in RUGABANO IDP Model Village;
– Develop and keep updated a database of vulnerable groups as well as graduates living in RUGABANO IDP MODEL.
– Implement the District’s strategy on community health and sanitation in line with national policies and programs in RUGABANO IDP Model Village;
– Organize and conduct public awareness campaigns in RUGABANO IDP Model Village on health and sanitation issues, including diseases and malnutrition prevention and control;
– Conduct campaigns meant to promote savings, and undertake advocacy action to promote networking and build synergies with micro credit and saving organizations to facilitate local population to access finances;
– Facilitate gathering data related to the employment status within RUGABANO IDP Model Village
– Do anything else requested by his/her supervisor in the work
