The PHEM Operations Officer will be responsible for:
• Coordinating the daily utilization of resources to support requests and inquiries related to preparedness and response of public health emergencies
• Managing and coordinating activities related to surveillance, case management & lab
• Providing technical expertise needed in preparedness and response of public health emergencies.
• Coordinating daily preparedness and response activities related to public health emergencies.
• Tracking and coordinating internal and external requests for information or for action
• Coordinating the development of preparedness and contingency plans for public health emergencies
• Coordinating the development of technical documents and tools regarding surveillance, case management, lab of public health emergencies
• Ensuring capacity building of Rapid response teams in responding to public health emergencies.

NB: A0 in General Medecine with Epidemiology or FLTP is also a requirement.







Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health

    1 Year of relevant experience

  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology

    1 Year of relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree in Field Epidemiology & Laboratory Training Program (FELTP)

    1 Year of relevant experience
