Job Description
The Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Data analyst will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing procedures for effective management of VHF data
• Overseeing and managing sentinel surveillance officers in the daily use of VHF data systems.
• Ensure all data entry, data cleaning and data analysis of VHF programmatic data, and data from studies and surveys for Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers
• Prepare weekly surveillance reports and publications on VHF surveillance
• Regularly monitor and evaluate VHF information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
• Participate in strategic planning of VHF research projects
in collaboration with developing and implementation partners
• Respond timely to data
• Assessing system performance and making recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements for VHF surveillance data
• Formulating techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
• Implementing efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis of VHF data with attention to all technical aspects
• Ensuring digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics
2 Years of relevant experience

Master’s Degree in Data Sciences
2 Years of relevant experience
