Job Description
– To supervise establishment of bee reserves and apiaries;
– To conduct research in apiculture and commercial insects;
– To implement beekeeping policies and enforce legislation;
– To build capacity of staff and stakeholders;
– To conduct planning in beekeeping and coordinate collection and analysis of bee products statistics;
– To plan and ensure quality of beekeeping products;
– To participate in setting standards of bee products;
– To carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by Supervisor.
– Assist the program to prepare a work plan for the bee-keeping activities;
– Assist with the training of farmers and front-line Government staff on issues relating to the appropriate farm management techniques for bee-keeping
