Job description
– Reviewing feasibility studies of potential investors in methane gas;
in negotiation of agreement between investors and the GoR,
– Reviewing designs of methane gas extraction facilities prior to construction
– Regularly carrying out inspections on operational plants to check compliance with contractual obligations,
– Cooperate regulatory with other involved institutions to harmonize views on status of compliance of various operators on the Lake;
– Analyse data shared by operators and compare them with the requirements of their contractual obligations;
– Participate and/or supervise on specific research studies on new technology of methane gas extraction and other uses of Lake Kivu resources,
