Job description

Define and execute the Deal Acceleration plan for assigned priority sector through investment opportunity mapping, identification of business opportunities in sector and development of sector/sub-sector pitch documents;
Develop and monitor progression of the deal pipeline in the assigned sector;
Profile and target potential investors, hold initial discussions and maintain close investor follow up;
Ensure rapid response to investor follow up questions, prepare tailored pitch documents for investors and drives advanced deal discussions;
Lead advanced discussions with investors – undertake assessment/quality check of investor proposals and coordinate response to proposal within GoR;
Direct research and translate to tangible implications;
Ensure close coordination with the other departments in the CIO office – share sector specific information with the marketing team; ensure smooth handover to transaction support team; monitor follow up of previous investors by Reinvestment/Export Growth and escalate business climate concerns/issues raised;
Direct and manage research towards tangible outcomes – define sector specialist’s weekly work plan and manage the specialist’s performance;
Any other duties as required by the hierarchical supervisor.

  • Proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage;
