Job description

 Supervise and coordinate the development and implementation of
action plans related to Basic Education and TVET standards and norms.
 Supervise and coordinate the communication and data management in terms of approved standards and norms through SDMS.
 Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for accrediting Basic Education and TVET infrastructures.
 Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for school infrastructures
 Coordinate the setup of the standards, norms, criteria, and indicators for accrediting institutions and/or centers for recognition of prior learning.
 Keep updating the TVET standards, norms, criteria and/or indicators if necessary.
 Liaise with different authorities to ensure compliance of school infrastructure standards and norms with Rwanda building codes, Rwanda environmental regulations, Urban planning, and regional and International standards.
 Provide to her/his supervisor the technical advice regarding the school construction standards and norms.
 Supervise unit activities and build capacities of the staff.
 Carry out any other task assigned by her/his supervisors
