University of Liverpool- Fully Funded Scholarships: (Deadline 30 April 2021)

Apply for the Fully Funded Scholarships at the University of Liverpool. The deadline for the application is 30th April 2021. The scholarship is for a PhD degree in the field of Computer and Electrical Engineering. The name of the scholarship is:

Dual PhD in Chromatic Analysis of Behaviour and Neural Substrate of Pain Perception in Cuttlefish 2021

Additionally, Chromatic Analysis of Behaviour and Neural Substrate of Pain Perception in Cuttlefish project is a part of a 4-year dual PhD programme between National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) and the University of Liverpool (England). Students should spend equal time studying in each institution.

Eligibility

  • Open to all nationals enrolling in a dual PhD programme.

Value of Scholarship

  • UoL and NTHU will waive the tuition fees for the duration of the project. Additionally, a stipend of 11,000 TWD/ GBP 280 GBP a month as a contribution to living costs.

Additionally, as part of the NTHU-UoL Dual PhD Award students are in the unique position of being able to gain 2 PhD awards at the end of their degree from two internationally recognized world-leading Universities.

National Tsing Hua University is a research university in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Additionally, the university was first founded in Beijing. Also, after the Kuomintang retreated to Taiwan in 1949 following its defeat by the Communist Party of China in the Chinese Civil War, NTHU was re-established in Hsinchu City in 1956
