Job Description
– Ensure Mal & OPDD Epidemiological surveillance at different levels.
– Support Health Facilities to ensure a quality and timely reporting of epidemiological, data to the central level.
– Responsible for organizing and implementing malaria integrated supportive supervision and other field activities according to the RBC /Malaria and OPD Division action plan
– Provide support to the National Health Information System through adaptation and development of data quality norms and standards, training of health facility staff on data quality issues
– Contribute to the validation/ consistency of health Malaria related data reported by Health Facilities and Community Health Workers to ensure compliance with data quality requirements into HMIS
– Contribute to capacity building of health facility staff and partners through training in the use of data for decision making using DHIS2 and RHAP Platforms;
– Contribute to data quality audits both at health facility and community level;
– Provide monthly feedback to the District hospitals and health facilities on malaria indicators performance using score cards for decision making and data quality issues.
– Undertake other tasks and assigned duties as required.
