Job Description
– Carry out all tests assigned to his service in the lab
– Maintain continuous quality control and quality assurance procedures for NRL and other laboratories
– Participate in training of District laboratory technicians
– Participate in supervision of District hospital and Health Centre labs
– Participate in research activities done by NRL
– Ensure safety precautions and hygiene are followed in the lab
– Maintain proper records of tests done and prepare periodic reports for the head of the unit
– Perform daily instruments maintenance service
– Maintain integrity, organization and confidentiality of records (client results, specimen logs, maintenance logs, inventory logs, etc.)
