Job Description
Reporting to the Crop Protection Program Coordinator Senior Research Fellow, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Research Technician Grade IV has the following responsibilities:
– Ensure accurate collection of field and laboratory data;
– Participate in production and dissemination of extension materials (posters and fliers);
– Backstop/support extension and technology dissemination to stakeholders in crop pests and diseases prevention and management;
– Provide training to farmers and extension agents on improved crop pests and diseases;
– Participate in research and technology transfer on crop pests and diseases prevention and management;
– Prepare a quarterly and annual report on crop pests and diseases research activities carried out.
