Job description
– Answerable to the Director of Medical Rehabilitation Unit;
– Provide care services (individual nursing, hygiene, sanitation, recreation, protection from physical and mental harm, etc.) to unaccompanied severely disabled ex-combatants living on their own or during hospitalization,
– Ensure that eligible beneficiaries are given food, drink and medicine during hospitalization or stay at the transit (common) house,
– Ensure availability of sufficient supplies (food and non-food) at the transit house at all times and report to management accordingly,
– Handle sterilization and prescribed cleaning of Medical utensils and tools used by MRU Nurses on routine duties,
– Provide care to beneficiaries attending disability screening,
– Produce and submit daily situation reports, weekly flash reports and monthly progress reports to the supervisor,
– Perform any other official duties assigned by the supervisor.
– Being an Ex-combatant will be an added advantage
